There is no man without duties. The
man who doesn’t have duties is not a man but an animal. A student is a human
being. So, he/she has more duties than any other human being. Actually,
he/she has many duties towards himself, family, society, country, and
humanity. He/she is the future leader of the nation. The development
of any country depends on the proper performance of his/her duties. So, the duties
of a student should never be neglected.
A student has to fulfill many
duties. Basically, the first and foremost duty of a student is to study
and learn. Along with studies, he/she should set his/her goal in
life. Besides, a student must attend classes regularly. He/she
should develop a good study habit. If he/she doesn’t understand anything,
he/she should get help from the teachers. At the same time, he/she has to
take care of his/her health. Above all, a student should always think of
his/her own improvement and work accordingly.
A student has many important duties
towards the family. He/she should help the family members in all household
chores. Besides, he/she should respect the elders of the family and love
the younger ones. If possible he/she should provide mental support to
family members. In fact, the main duty of a student towards the
family is to contribute to the family financially by working.
The important duty of a student towards
the society is to help eradicate illiteracy from the society. Besides,
he/she should serve the poor and sick patients of society. Creating awareness
about the bad effects of dowry among the people of society is also a
significant duty of a student.
A student is the future leader of a
nation. He/she will lead the nation in the future. So, he/she should be
prepared properly because he/she will lead the country towards peace and
prosperity in the future. However, a student should promote national unity,
serve the community, develop leadership skills, and respect the law for the
welfare of the country. By performing these duties a student can
contribute to the progress and development of the country.
Service to humanity is a great religion. A
student should contribute to the service of humanity. He/she should
impart knowledge and education to the people according to his ability. Not only that, a student should fully engage himself in the service of
humanity. And, for that, he should collect money from the rich people in society and spend that money on the treatment and welfare of the poor.
Finally, it can be said that the duties of a student are
unlimited. But before he fulfills all the duties, he/she should follow
the commands and prohibitions of Allah entrusted to him/her. If he/she can
satisfy Allah, he/she will not face any problem in fulfilling any of his
duties, rather, by fulfilling all the duties properly, he/she can lead a
beautiful life in the world.

দায়িত্ব ছাড়া কোন মানুষ নেই।
যার দায়িত্ব নেই সে মানুষ না, পশু। একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রী মানুষ। তাই অন্য যেকোন
মানুষের চেয়ে তার বেশি দায়িত্ব থাকে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, নিজের,
পরিবার, সমাজ, দেশ
ও মানবতার প্রতি তার অনেক দায়িত্ব আছে। সে জাতির ভবিষ্যৎ নেতা। তার দায়িত্ব যথাযথভাবে
পালনের উপর যেকোনো দেশের উন্নয়ন নির্ভর করে। তাই একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর দায়িত্বকে
কখনই অবহেলা করা উচিত নয়।
একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীকে অনেক
দায়িত্ব পালন করতে হয়। মূলত একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর প্রথম এবং প্রধান দায়িত্ব হল
অধ্যয়ন করা এবং শেখা। পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি তার জীবনের লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণ করা উচিত।
এছাড়া একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীকে অবশ্যই নিয়মিত ক্লাসে উপস্থিত থাকতে হবে। তার ভালো
পড়াশোনার অভ্যাস গড়ে তুলতে হবে। যদি সে কিছু বুঝতে না পারে তবে তার শিক্ষকদের
সাহায্য নেওয়া উচিত। একই সাথে তাকে তার স্বাস্থ্যের যত্ন নিতে হবে। সর্বোপরি, একজন
ছাত্র/ছাত্রীকে সবসময় তার নিজের উন্নতির কথা ভাবতে হবে এবং সেই অনুযায়ী কাজ করতে
হবে।
পরিবারের প্রতি একজন
ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব আছে। তাকে পরিবারের সদস্যদের পরিবারের
সকল কাজে সাহায্য করা উচিত। এছাড়া পরিবারের বড়দের সম্মান করতে হবে এবং ছোটদের
ভালোবাসতে হবে। সম্ভব হলে তাকে পরিবারের সদস্যদের মানসিক সমর্থন দিতে হবে।
প্রকৃতপক্ষে, পরিবারের প্রতি একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর প্রধান দায়িত্ব হল চাকরি করে
পরিবারে আর্থিকভাবে অবদান রাখা।
সমাজের প্রতি একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়ী হল সমাজ থেকে নিরক্ষরতা দূরীকরণে সাহায্য করা। এছাড়া তাকে
সমাজের দরিদ্র ও অসুস্থ রোগীদের সেবা করতে হবে। সমাজের মানুষের মধ্যে যৌতুকের কুফল
সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা সৃষ্টি করাও একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব।
একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রী জাতির ভবিষ্যৎ
কর্ণধার। সে ভবিষ্যতে জাতিকে নেতৃত্ব দিবে। সুতরাং তাকে সঠিকভাবে প্রস্তুত করা
উচিত কারণ সে ভবিষ্যতে দেশকে শান্তি ও সমৃদ্ধির দিকে নিয়ে যাবে। যাইহোক, একজন
ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর জাতীয় ঐক্যের প্রচার করা, সম্প্রদায়ের
সেবা করা, নেতৃত্বের দক্ষতা বিকাশ করা এবং দেশের কল্যাণের
জন্য আইনকে সম্মান করা উচিত। এই দায়িত্ব পালনের মাধ্যমে একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রী দেশের
অগ্রগতি ও উন্নয়নে অবদান রাখতে পারে।
মানবতার সেবাই বড় ধর্ম। একজন
ছাত্র/ছাত্রীকে মানবতার সেবায় অবদান রাখতে হবে। তাকে তার সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী
মানুষকে জ্ঞান ও শিক্ষা দিতে হবে। শুধু তাই নয়, একজন ছাত্র/ছাত্রীরকে পুরোপুরি
মানবতার সেবায় নিজেকে নিয়োজিত করতে হবে। আর তার জন্য সমাজের ধনী ব্যক্তিদের নিকট
থেকে অর্থ সংগ্রহ করে সেই অর্থ দরিদ্রদের চিকিৎসা ও কল্যাণে ব্যয় করা উচিত।
পরিশেষে বলা যায়, একজন
ছাত্র/ছাত্রীর দায়িত্ব সীমাহীন। কিন্তু সে সমস্ত দায়িত্ব পালন করার পূর্বে তার
উপর অর্পিত আল্লাহর আদেশ ও নিষেধ মেনে চলতে হবে। সে যদি আল্লাহকে সন্তুষ্ট করতে
পারে তবে তার কোন দায়িত্ব পালনে তার কোন সমস্যা হবে না, বরং
সকল দায়িত্ব যথাযথভাবে পালন করে সে পৃথিবীতে সুন্দর জীবনযাপন করতে পারবে।
