Diaspora
is the worldwide scattered people who leave their homeland for various reasons to live elsewhere. There are two main reasons for this diaspora. One is by force and the other is willingness. The event of diaspora is
seen throughout the history of human civilization. The first diaspora
in world history is the Jewish diaspora. Abraham, the forefather of the Jews, was forced
to leave his homeland, Iraq. Leaving his motherland, he went to Egypt and
settled there. Later his descendants Jews left Egypt and settled in Palestine. Then, these descendants of Jews scattered as diaspora in different places of
Europe and America. Aryans were the second diaspora in world
history. Thousands of years ago, they left their European homeland and
took shelter as a refuge in the Indian subcontinent and settled there. There were many reasons for the Aryan diaspora. Its main reasons were
force, personal interests, war, threats, natural calamities, etc. Besides, there were many other unknown reasons behind the Aryan diaspora. The most recent diaspora of the present century is the Rohingya diaspora. The main reason for this diaspora is religious conflict. The Rohingyas were
driven out from Arakan in Myanmar and took shelter as a refuge in
Bangladesh. At present, they are living permanently in Bangladesh. One of the notable reasons for the ongoing world diaspora is
globalization. Due to globalization, people have scattered all over the
world and have taken shelter in different countries of the world including the
UK, the USA, Italy, Germany, Canada and Australia. However, diaspora is a
great problem for any country either developing or developed. So, to solve
the diaspora problem we need to provide a specific territory for all the people
who don’t have a specific territory to live in. If this can be done, the diaspora
problem will be solved automatically.
