Dialogue with your friend about COVID-19

Suppose, you are Sahil/Khusi and your friend is Raghib/Jhumur. You are
speaking to each other over phone. Your friend wants to know about
COVID-19.

Now, write a dialogue between you and your friend about COVID-19.

Sahil : Hello! Could I speak to Raghib, please?

Raghib
:
Speaking! Is it Sahil? How’re you, my friend?

Sahil : I’m fine so
far. What about you?

Raghib : I’m also fine. But I’m quite worried
about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sahil : Me, too! The situation is
getting worse.

Raghib : I don’t know much about the disease. Could
you tell me more about it?

Sahil : Sure! COVID-19 is caused by a
specific type of coronavirus. It is a highly infectious respiratory disease.

Raghib
:
I’ve heard it spreads through close contact with an infected person.

Sahil
:
Right! The virus comes out through the nose and mouth in droplets when an
infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks and if a healthy person inhales the
droplets, he or she will be affected too.

Raghib : Well, can you
tell me about its symptoms?

Sahil : Sure! The symptoms of the
disease are fever, dry cough, sore throat, losing sense of smell, weakness,
diarrhea, breathing problem, etc.

Raghib : Oh no! Then it could kill
us. What is the cure?

Sahil : Unfortunately, the disease has no
actual remedy yet.

Raghib : Then we must take some precautions
against it, mustn’t we?

Sahil : Yes. Washing hands often, for at
least 20 seconds, eating healthy food and doing light exercise, wearing mask in
public, and keeping at least 3 feet distance from people will help us prevent
this disease.

Raghib : We have to follow these rules strictly.

Sahil
:
That’s right! Bye for now.

Raghib : Bye!
