last night. In that email, you wanted to know about my country. So,
today I am writing to you to describe my country. The name of my country
is Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a small country in South Asia. The
country gained independence from Pakistan in 1971. Basically, it is a democratic
country. My country has an area of 1,47,570 square kilometers and a
population of over 18 crores. It is mainly an agricultural country. The
main crops of this country are rice, jute, sugarcane, and tea. We earn a
lot of foreign exchange every year by exporting tea and jute. 80 percent of the
people of this country live in villages. My country is an Islamic country. Most
of the people in this country are Muslims. Apart from Muslims, a small
number of Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians live here. Besides, many
tribes live here. My country is surrounded by rivers. And, in this
river, there are different types of fish. Hilsa and shrimp are our best
fish. We also earn a lot of foreign exchange by exporting these two
fishes. There are many interesting and beautiful places in my country.
Sundarbans, Cox’s Bazar sea beach, and Kuakata in Patuakhali are mentionable
among them. Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach is the longest in the world from
where the sunrise and sunset can be seen. Pohela Boishakh is the most remarkable
festival in my country. We eat Panta and Hilsa on Pahela Baishakh. The people of my country are very peaceful and hospitable. Finally, I want to tell
you that my country is a land of beauty. Everywhere you look you will see
only beautiful and beautiful things. You will find a country nowhere like my
country which is my homeland. I invite you to visit this beautiful
country.

গত রাতে তোমাকে নিকঠ থেকে একটি ইমেল পেয়েছি।
ঐ ইমেইলে তুমি আমার দেশ সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছিলে। তাই আজ আমি
আমার দেশের বর্ণনা দিয়ে তোমাকে লিখছি। আমার দেশের
নাম বাংলাদেশ। বাংলাদেশ দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার একটি ছোট দেশ।
দেশটি ১৯৭২ সালে পাকিস্তান থেকে স্বাধীনতা লাভ করে। মূলত, এটি একটি গণতান্ত্রিক দেশ।আমার দেশের আয়তন ১,৪৭,৫৭০ বর্গকিলোমিটার এবং জনসংখ্যা ১৮ কোটির
বেশি।এটি মূলত একটি কৃষিপ্রধান দেশ। এদেশের প্রধান ফসল ধান,পাট, আখ ও চা। চা ও পাট রপ্তানি করে আমরা
প্রতি বছর প্রচুর বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা অর্জন করি। এদেশের ৮০ শতাংশ মানুষ গ্রামে বাস
করে। আমার দেশ একটি ইসলামিক দেশ। এদেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষ মুসলমান। এখানে মুসলমান
ছাড়াও অল্প সংখ্যক হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধ ও খ্রিস্টান বসবাস করে।
এছাড়া এখানে অনেক উপজাতির বসবাস। আমার দেশ চারিদিকে নদী দ্বারা বেষ্টিত। আর
এই নদীতে আছে বিভিন্ন ধরনের মাছ। ইলিশ ও চিংড়ি
আমাদের সেরা মাছ। এদুটি মাছও রপ্তানি করে আমরা
প্রচুর বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা অর্জন করি। আমার দেশে অনেক আকর্ষণীয় এবং সুন্দর স্হান আছে।
এর মধ্যে সুন্দরবন, কক্সবাজার সমুদ্র সৈকত এবং
পটুয়াখালীর কুয়াকাটা উল্লেখযোগ্য। কক্সবাজার
সমুদ্র সৈকত পৃথিবীর দীর্ঘতম সমুদ্র সৈকত যেখান থেকে সূর্যোদয় ও সূর্যাস্ত দেখা
যায়। পহেলা বৈশাখ আমার দেশের সবচেয়ে উল্লেখযোগ্য উৎসব। পহেলা বৈশাখে আমরা পান্তা
ও ইলিশ খাই। আমার দেশের মানুষ খুবই শান্তিপ্রিয় ও অতিথিপরায়ণ। সবশেষে, আমি তোমাকে বলতে চাই যে আমার দেশ একটি
সৌন্দর্যের দেশ। তুমি যেদিকে তাকাবে কেবল সুন্দর সুন্দর জিনিস দেখতে পাবে। আমার
দেশের মতো দেশ কোথাও পাবে না যেটা আমার জন্মভূমি। আমি তোমাকে এই সুন্দর দেশটি
দেখার আমন্ত্রণ জানাই।
আজ আর নয়। আমি আমার দেশের কথা বলেছি। তুমি আমাকে তোমার দেশ সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত বলবে।তোমার পিতামাতা, ভাই, বোন এবং তোমার পরিবারের সকলকে আমার শুভেচ্ছা এবং ভালবাসা জানাই।
